Buckley has a longstanding record of successful secondary school placement. The School provides families comprehensive support as they seek their boys' next home.
Beginning in the spring of Class VII, parents and students meet with the Head of School, Director of Placement, and Director of the Upper School. All schools—boarding and day—that interest students are explored. For those who would like another year at Buckley before entering secondary school, our Academy Year offers a challenging and enriching high school experience full of senior leadership roles.
Our goal is that each boy attends a school that appropriately challenges him, supports his talents, and provides opportunities to reach his full potential.
As they take part in all areas of Buckley's academic, athletic, and arts program, our students are uniquely and excellently prepared for what lies ahead. Secondary schools consistently make note of signature Buckley Boy traits: they engage in every facet of school life as teammates and leaders; they explore pursuits both daunting and familiar; and they put kindness and respect first (while always holding the door for others).
