Dear Buckley Families,
We are pleased to announce that Buckley will be creating new parent groups this year centered around Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI). Our hope is that these groups will cultivate and sustain relationships among families through a series of events and informal gatherings. Our first welcome session will take place in the Walsh Building from 9:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, and will be for all interested families who would like to join us in a discussion around DEI efforts at school. At Buckley we consider the topic of diversity to be all-inclusive, relating to issues of race, ethnicity, gender, family structure, orientation, religion/belief, learning styles, nationality, and physical ability.
On the 13th, you will have a chance to hear from our DEI Leadership Team, as well as from facilitators of the current Lower, Middle, and Upper School student affinity and interests groups. Childcare will be provided at the Hubball Building. To RSVP for this event, please fill out this form by Monday, April 1.
